Full Mouth Rehabilitation
Full-mouth rehabilitation is designed for patients who have experienced significant wear, damage, deterioration, or tooth loss affecting multiple teeth. Because treatment often involves several areas of the mouth and multiple restorative techniques, it requires careful diagnosis, planning, and coordination.
As the East End’s only prosthodontist, Dr. Sicurelli has advanced training in rebuilding complex smiles with a focus on long-term function, comfort, and natural-looking results.
A Comprehensive Approach
Every full-mouth case begins with a comprehensive diagnostic phase — including Cone Beam CT imaging, bite analysis, and a phased treatment plan designed around your timeline and goals. We prepare a detailed evaluation of your teeth, bite, gums, jaw function, and existing dental work. Dr. Sicurelli then develops a personalized treatment plan based on what needs to be restored—not a predetermined set of procedures.
Treatment may include dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, or other restorative techniques, combined as appropriate to create a healthy, balanced, functional result.
Comprehensive Evaluation — A detailed assessment of your teeth, bite, function, and overall oral health.
Individualized Treatment Planning — A carefully sequenced plan designed around your specific needs and priorities.
Advanced Restorative Care — Treatment may incorporate implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and other prosthodontic solutions.
Function and Aesthetics Together — The goal is not simply a better-looking smile, but one that feels comfortable, functions properly, and is designed to last.
Full-mouth rehabilitation can restore more than individual teeth. It can reestablish the way your entire smile works together—improving comfort, function, confidence, and quality of life.
-
Bruxism-related wear that has shortened teeth, altered the bite, or compromised function.
-
Missing teeth throughout the mouth that require a coordinated replacement strategy rather than isolated treatment.
-
Loss of vertical dimension that can change facial proportions and may contribute to jaw discomfort or TMJ-related symptoms.
-
Multiple crowns, bridges, implants, or other restorations that have deteriorated, failed, or need to be comprehensively replaced.
-
Complex dental rehabilitation for patients rebuilding function and appearance following head and neck cancer treatment.
OUR PROCESS
A Carefully Sequenced Approach.
Ours is a more deliberate approach to complex dentistry – one that considers not only individual teeth, but how the entire mouth needs to function together over time.
STEP 1
Consultation
Dr. Sicurelli begins by understanding your concerns, symptoms, priorities, and goals. This includes both how you want your smile to look and how you need it to function.
STEP 2
Diagnosis
A detailed clinical examination and digital imaging are used to evaluate the teeth, bite, supporting structures, and existing dental work. This allows Dr. Sicurelli to identify what can be preserved, what needs to be restored, and where treatments such as crowns, implants, extractions, root canal therapy, or orthodontic movement may be necessary.
STEP 4
Maintenance
Once treatment is complete, ongoing care helps protect the result. Depending on your treatment, this may include routine hygiene visits, monitoring of implants and restorations, bite evaluation, and retainer or nightguard use when appropriate.
STEP 3
Phased Planning
Rather than approaching each problem independently, Dr. Sicurelli develops a carefully sequenced treatment plan. Foundational care may come first, followed by implant placement or tooth movement, and ultimately the final restorations. Each phase is timed and coordinated so that it creates the right conditions for the next.
